CNT Related COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Updates

The CCAOM is closely monitoring the rapidly changing situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus), both in the U.S. and overseas. We are in close contact with our member schools and are monitoring local and state health department information as it becomes available. Below you will find information regarding COVID-19 and its potential impact on Clean Needle Technique (CNT) Courses.

CNT Course Cancellations Due to COVID-19

If a CNT course is cancelled due to a COVID-19 related school closing or local quarantine, you will be notified via email. CCAOM will also update this page to reflect course cancellations (see below). In the event of an emergency or last-minute cancellation, CCAOM will also update our office voicemail message. In the event of a cancellation, applicants will be given two options:

  • Option One: Keep your registration in CCAOM's system and be automatically enrolled in the rescheduled course date with no action on your part. As soon as a new date is confirmed, you will be notified by email and have a guaranteed spot in the class. If for some reason the new course date does not work for you, you may request a full refund at that time or be switched into another course date at no charge.
  • Option Two: Request a full refund and cancellation. This option will require you to re-register on our website when the course is rescheduled. You will not be guaranteed a spot in the course.

Please add to your address book to ensure that you receive all email communications regarding CNT courses.

CNT Course Fee Information

CCAOM will extend early bird fees for courses scheduled for May and June.

CNT Travel Kit Update

CCAOM is aware that alcohol-based hand sanitizers are currently in high demand and therefore may be difficult to obtain. You will not be penalized if you do not have hand sanitizer with you at the course.

CNT Course Attendance

CCAOM encourages all individuals to continue to follow the protection and prevention guidelines outlined by both the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 (fever, cough, sore throat, etc.) prior to or on the day of your scheduled CNT course, do not attend.  Instead, call our office at 410-464-6060 or email us at to notify us of your situation. You will receive a full refund or be switched into another available course with no charge. If we are unavailable when you call, leave a message with your full name and course date/location and we will get back to you to discuss your cancellation or switch.

Traveling to a CNT Course

CCAOM encourages applicants to stay up-to-date by checking the Centers for Disease Control’s Coronavirus Disease 2019 Information for Travel, as well as the World Health Organization’s Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) travel advice.  These organizations have provided current risk assessment by location, information for travelers, frequently asked questions, and information about travel warnings, alerts, and watch levels. The CCAOM will not assume responsibility for any personal expenses incurred by individuals relating to course attendance, including but not limited to, travel or accommodations, so if you are traveling to a CNT course you may wish to purchase travel insurance.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us
