CNT and Blood Borne Pathogen Review Course
The CCAOM is pleased to announce the launch of a new CEU course to be offered exclusively through the Council's website (see link below). This course has been approved by NCCAOM and will offer 4 PDA points towards the CEU safety requirement for NCCAOM Diplomates, and can be completed in the convenience of your office or home, on your own schedule.
This continuing education course provides up-to-date information on bloodborne pathogens, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and safe practice, and is intended for licensed acupuncturists. The course reviews epidemiological data on hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and the human immunodeficiency virus, and provides updated information relating to emergency procedures and clean needle technique.
(NOTE: This course is not a substitute for the Clean Needle Technique course, which is a requirement for NCCAOM certification and licensure in many states.)
