Malignancies are an important cause of death in the U.S. and the world and dramatically affect the quality of peoples’ lives. The treatment is a challenge for any practitioner. This course introduces a basic knowledge of the scientific definition of malignancy and discusses alternative treatments for malignancy that are focused on Chinese herbal therapy. |

| Instructor Bio: |
Libang Zhang graduated from the Shanghai University of TCM in 1966 and was the director of a liver disease research institute in China before coming to the U.S. After moving to the U.S., he worked in the Mount Sinai School of Medicine as a manager of a diagnostic lab in the Center for Comparative Medicine and Surgery (CCMS). He currently serves as the Chair of the Oriental Medicine program at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has published many articles in China and in the U.S. and has held many academic and honorary positions in the U.S. and China. |
